Looking for some help from the Gurus.
I am considering either the Zinger 26BH or the Wildwood LE 26TBSS.
We like both, now were looking at the price.

We're leaning towards the Zinger.

I really need help with the pricing. I found a 2008 new Zinger 26BH for $14,500 (MSRP is just over $25k, but it is a 2008),
or
A 2009 Wildwood LE 26TBSS for $15k (MSRP is $20,973).

Does anyone have any advice on if this sounds good, also where I should start the negotiations if it is a good deal??

the dealer is right on with the 26TBSS. they are making a grand give or take.

IMO the Zinger 26BH isn't discounted enough being nearly 2 model years old.

which floorplan do you like better?

I like the Zinger, not sure how to start negotiating. I have seen NADA used value, but I don't think that's comparable considering it is still new and carries a warranty.

Wow a reasonable person where were people like you when I was selling

If you want to try for a bit more offer 12k and see if they come down. In all reality 14,500 isn't a bad deal on a new unit maybe they have more room, maybe they don't all you can do is try

From my personal experience and lots of reasearch after getting burnt a couple years ago, the Zinger is a better option. That manufacture has a better track record for customer support after the sale and keeping promises pertaining to warrenty work should you need it. With Forest River, it's a hit and miss operation at best. Good luck and happy trails to you with whatever unit you purchase.

I have had my Zinger for 2 years now and we love it, the one thing you need to ask is Crossroads offer a 2 year warranty make sure they give you the full 2 years or come down with the price which is pretty good as it stands now. Check out the Crossraods forums at the Crossroads web site, alot of great knowledgable people there. Crossroads have good customer service and are willing to work with you if you have issues. In the end its your choice based on all the factors that impact you e.g. price, floorplan, quality, good match for your tow vehicle.
