I installed a pair of Train horn on my last MH a 35 foot bounder
bought the horns $135
bought a tank $65
bought a pressure switch $25 85lbs to 110 Lbs
bought hoses $25
bought a compressor on ebay new for $85
lasted a week.
bought another compressor at Costco maybe $60
bought a fuse block $8
bought heavy wire $20
bought a air pressure guage $20
rubber munts and bolts etc. $15
not sure about all the prices been awhile
but when I was done. I cost more than if I would have bought
a package at CW
loud it was loud really loud
I used 3/8 tubing instead of 1/4
and used 100lb pressure
and it was noisy went it came on and I was never able to find
a slow loss of pressure and that made the compressor come on
for 2 min every 6 hrs
adn real no no at quite time.
never do it again
however when I got my new diesel pusher I took the train horns
off the old MH and changed the fleetwood horns with my
Train horns
love the sound and the Db's

Also, some newer trucks (Internationals, F-650/750's) have self-contained electric highway horns--a big-truck salvage yard might be worth a look.

I installed two Hadley rectangular air horns of different length under the floor between the frame rails. I designed and installed my own complete air system including front & rear air suspension air bags, 12V Via Air compressor and the Via Air tank, front and rear pressure regulators and gauges in the dash etc. The additional air outlet can be used to air tires or anything else that needs pressurized air. The horn button in the steering wheel operates either the air horns or electric horns thru the switch under the dash. The compressor operation is automatic and maintains the air pressure between 85 and 120 PSI in the tank when ignition is on. I got all parts from several different sources, mostly truck supply outfits. My installation is complex and requires knowledge of the parts needed but if you are installing air horns only, the best bet is probably complete Hadley air horn kit available in Camping World for around $350 I think.
