We will serve as volunteer park hosts at Lake Cascade state park in ID for half the summer (instead of all summer as we usually do) and then spend a month or so in NH visiting a couple of our kids.
The rest of the time will be spent traveling around visiting friends and relatives.

Tucson to visit a friend (without RV) then back here and on to the pacific northwest (Portland and Astoria where I lived my former life), Vancouver Island B.C., down to Washington and Idaho to see friends and scope a few things out. After that? Hmmmmmm Guess wherever the road leads. At some point back here to the warm beach and my anchor point for the winter IF I don't wind up staying someplace like Idaho or? Life's like a box of chocolates, ya never know what you're gonna get.

Leaving Texas late May heading to the mid-west (Ohio and Michigan) to see kids and grandkids. Than meeting up with friends and heading west. Will end up in Idaho just west of Yellowstone. Will be there for several weeks before heading to Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and back to Texas sometime in September.

We will be in Ridgeview. That's the brand new one next to and north of Van Wyck Main. Van Wyke main is right in Cascade where the boat launch is.
Ridgeview is the first full hook up camping unit in the park.
Ought to be interesting when all those extended families that have done totally unstructured camping there for years show up. It's a reservation park with pads for RVs and even tents (sand over gravel for the tents).
Going to be a big change.

Please feel free to stop by anytime you are in the area. We should be there by May 19th or so.

Tom and Betty Storm will be hosts at Boulder Creek where we spent the second half of last summer. They are neat people and worth getting to know. We spent a month in Benson this winter visiting with them.

We returned to Calif in Feb from spending the winter in Alabama and Texas. We will stay here(Ca)until our granddaughter graduates from high school in mid June and then leave for Northern California Gold country, then on to Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

The fall will find us back in Gulf Shores, Alabama

Well I have kinda turned things around this year. Usually by Jan 1 I have found a place to workamp for the summer, but because I did that this winter, whew it was a long year, any way am taking the summer off. Plan on leaving Quartzsite by May 1, go visit friends in Niland, Ca, then up the coast to friends in Walburg, Ore, then across to Portland and visit son & dtr-in-law, then to Clear Lake, Wa, to visit friends and then to Vancouver Island, a friends memorial service for end of May, and hopefully visit with granddaughter and a couple of great grand sons. Then head N. to Prince George, Burns Lake, Smithers, more kids, greats and greats, then eventually to Grand Prairie, Alb and then if I can get a flight out of Edmonton, go to Churchill and see the Polar Bears, and a short hop to Icalauit???, why, cause the one Province I haven't been in. Next winter hope to do Hawaii and that will FILL my map. As you can see, love to drive and do a lot of it. Bought a Suzuki Samari this spring so can get around easier now. The CLass A is great, but sometimes you DO need a car. Hope you all have a great summer as well. Stay well and
SUDTR
