Will be traveling thru Pidgeon Forge this summer, and will probably stay in the area 3 nights.
Has anyone stayed at Pine Mountain campground? Opinions?
Also what would be the best way to come in from the North on I40? Thanks,
Sue
Pine Mountain is very nice. We were there over spring break and were on site #39. The only concern I had was the placement of some of their sewer connections. At some sites your neighbors connection was about six ft. from your fire pit. Other then that it is a nice park with decent (for the area) room between the sites.

Love of my life (wife, not the 5er..but on some days she may argue that) one eleven year old son and one dog.
We stayed there last Christmas. Very nice park, paved sites, full hook up including cable. Their wi-fi was good as well. We used the indoor pool and hot tub across the street for obvious reasons and it was nice. But during the summer they have an onsite pool. The owners of the campground own the hotel across the street and they let you use the pool and lazy river. The bath house was very nice with individual shower rooms.
We are planning a trip back this Christmas as well.

Just left there on the 19th of this month for the annual Rod Run. This is a great campground that is super clean and the employess are super nice. The only downside that we could find is all sites are in the open with no shade. All sites have concrete pads and is located in downtown part of Pigeon Forge within walking distance of all shops and restaurants. Will definitely use again next year.
