Thinking about ordering a Tekonsha P3 Electronic Brake Control from Camping World. Does anyone know how I need to order one so it will work with my 2005 Chevy 2500HD? I could not find anywhere on CW's website that broke them down between differnt TV's. I assume the wiring harness is different. I am replacing a Jordan control that I really no longer feel comfortable with and seems outdated compaired to the Tekonsha P3 Electronic Brake Control.
Thanks
Mike

Try this link RVWHOLESALERS. The P3 is $10 cheaper plus it will qualify for free shipping. They also have the wiring harnesses for the P3. I got my P3 from them (also got my old Prodigy from them). I like CW and do order from them frequently but it does pay to shop around.

Yep, just got my Prodigy & harness from them 2 months ago. Works great!
The specifically list the different harnesses for your year.
Try these folks. http://www.adventurerv.net/
They have them on for $119.99. Add your plug in for your truck and off you go.
Have ordered several items from them and they have been good to deal with.

Get the Factory style harness along with the P3 - the longest time will be spent on deciding where to mount the P3 - after that it takes about 5 - 6 mins to run the wire harness over to the junction box just to the left of the brake pedal it has a black plastic cover and 1 plastic nut there is a spot at the top to plug in the harness it can only go in 1 spot ( I know I tried )
Be aware the harness I got had the signal wire ( that tells the P3 you are braking) in the wrong spot on the harness - took about 1 min to reposition the wire in the correct spot on the plug once I figured out with a volt meter what was going on
You will love the P3 especially the troubleshooting feature!! Just get the right pigtail for your truck and it is plug n play!!
