Less then 4 weeks till we go to the Point! Been there before, but didn't camp, can't wait.

Camping near Dorney Park in Allentown, PA for Memorial Day weekend so we can get our season passes to use at CP.

snowolf -- is that picture of a spot in the Lighthouse point section? I'm reserved in that area in a month. Looking forward to it!

yes that is a spot in the full hook-up sites in Lighthouse Point. these are great sites. also dont always wait on the buses for pick-up. they can take a while sometimes. seems like the hotels get priority.

ask anything you like. I have stayed in both areas. the full hooks are definitely worth the money if you have something more than a truck camper or pop-up. We always ask for a spot up near the pool. The road noise and coaster noise can be annoying but cmon what do you expect....

We stayed in Camper Village and had a great time. We did notice some folks having trouble getting into a couple of the back-in sites, but we had a pull-through that was simple. If I remember correctly, the water supply was at the shower house in the very middle of the CG which was odd (why not at the CG entrance?), and as for the shower house itself - it was VERY crowded and average cleanliness. The pool was very nice - great view of the coaster from it. We took several nice walks along the lake on the sidewalk, and enjoyed fishing from the CG pier. You would have to try really hard to not have a good time there. Enjoy!!!

Just got back from 4 days here. What a great set-up with the resort entrance and early admission. Also of note, you can park in a special lot your last day after check out so you can hit the parks that day too!

Can't wait to go back! Only wish it were closer
