I agree with Dayle1, if ours is low on the off door side the rear arm tends to hang up.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes once we get it level. We are SUPPOSED to be doing our "shakedown" this weekend if DH can get routed home in time! Cross all of your crossables for us!!

I had the same problem on my unit. I read on the KZ owners forum that Carefree had a "fix" for this problem. I had mine "fixed" at my RV dealership; one of the techs jury-rigged a small sping inside the the open part of the arm. The slight additional pressure makes the awning open as it should. It's been working fine for two years.

Leveling the unit fixed the issue! While on our maiden voyage this weekend, once level, we had NO problems with that rear arm! Thanks all!!

We took ours out for the first time this weekend and had ours pretty level and the awning arm still got stuck. If this continues, we will have to look for other options.
