Thanks to all replys. Actually I have drastic high frequency hearing loss (even with hearing aids), but hear lower frequencies ok. I do not think I will be able to hear the alarm on on any unit I buy. I am wanting one where the visual alarm will grab your attention. From the pictures, it looked like the Doran might come the closest. Any thoughts from users of any brand would be appreciated.

The read flashing led on the TST shows up pretty well at day and of course very well at night. Thankfully the kids hear the beeping just fine and one is usually riding shotgun.
A TPMS alarm is a nice feature but the main way it I think it can save accidents is the fact you check the pressure at the beginning of each time you start the engine.
It is just like tack. They are not required but after we adjust to driving with one then we miss it if it breaks.

I can't offer comments on the other brands, but the Doran RV360 has a green LED that turns red when there is an alarm condition. Also the display gives you a visual of which tire position has the alarm and shows the pressure.

When I need to adjust pressure in my tires and remove a sensor I can hear the Doran going off while I am back at the rear tires.
