as i understand it, Thor Ind. hasn't had the Tahoe brand for a number of years. Thor of California, which has the Tahoe line, broke away from the parent company some time ago. they haven't had a hybrid under the Tahoe brand for a long time. they focus more on toyhaulers.
the only hybrid made under Thor Ind. is the Kodiak/Cub lineup.
they have the 23TT which has the 3-bed "T" format.
they are sister hybrids like the Roo/Shamrock or Starcraft/Antigua lines.
Roo/Shamrock has the 233S, in addition to the 233. the 233S has a sofa slideout and the 3 queen beds.
i don't think Surveyor has made a 3 bed hybrid for some time.

Starcraft's Antigua line is now Starcraft Travel Star...the 215SB remains in the lineup....

The Antigua line is gone from Starcraft. Bummer, as we really like it (white cabinets etc). Ours is also a 3 bunk model, the 235sbs and we really like it, but it is another model no longer being made. It is a long trailer and a bit heavier than the 215sb or the 21sb, so maybe that is what led to it being removed from the current lineup.
One of the reasons we chose our Kodiak 23TT was that the three beds were actually real queen-sized mattresses. 3-4" in length & width make a big difference.

Just wondering if the opposing bunks make for any issues fitting into a campsite?
I have never had a problem so far. It was tight one time at a KOA. but I rarely stay at those!
The one bunk under the awning can get in the way, but you could always fold it up during the day. Because of where the bunk is, KZ put on longer awnings on the 23CT then on the other models, so really you do not loose too much if the bunk is deployed. Plus you have the extra benefit of a longer awning if the bunk is closed. KZ also made/makes? a model with 1 bunk in back 1 in the front and 1 off the drivers side.

I have been completely satisfied with my 232 - the floor plan is great, you don't have any issues with a curb side bunk. Sometimes I like to sit out under the awning after dark and talk - it doesn't disturb the kids this way. Love the floor plan. But here again, I've always liked the dinette as opposed the U shaped seating. Wonderful build, easy to tow, a lot more room than you'd expect. Don't know why they quit building them...

I don't have experience with the opposing bunks, but I have been to a number of state parks where one bunk would be darn close to the campfire pit. So that has caused me some pause with the opposing design.

Bikendan, thanks for the info on the trailer that I have. I have a n2me 2006 Thor Tahoe 18dt. It looks exactly like the one in early pics from JHUCK but his is called a 221SD? Mine has the 2 rear queen bunks with the king front bunk.
The kids love the idea of having thier own space and I've never had a probelm getting into a site. The trouble I have is opening it up on the road outside my house because the driveeay is not long enough. With both bunks out it makes for a pretty wide target...
