Interesting, why don't you cotact F.R. and see if they have any suggestions. I have never heard of that happening. I was thinking it may have been the original color.
Here you go this stuff works great. used it on my pop-up when it got dirty. It is great stuff. delute it when you use it. Once yo use it you will see the spots you missed it's that good. I see a lot of yellow fiberglass TT's out here from baking in the sun, it's one of the reasons I favor aluminum. My impression is it goes with the territory and there isn't much that can be done about it. I'll be interested if some of the suggestions you get work.
