I'm not telling. Isn't that why it's called "Personal".

...German Shepard who is very protective of her owners: most effective protection, and she keeps us warm on cold nights; nothing else necessary.

We don't carry anything. I have considered some bear spray.... to use if we came across an actual bear. I guess if there were a problem I'd just have to scream really loud or throw a can of soup at the intruder.

It was interesting to sa the least......look like alot of people pack.
I personally have young kids so thats out of the question for me.
Also it might be true that if you do have a gun and somebody does know it could end up in a gun fight. Wold not want thay either.

For me some well concealed pepper spray might be all I would need in an emergency.

I stopped one night in a rest area and I was the only camper there. Knowing anybody could pull in there and harass or perhaps want to do some harm, I was uneasy with no protection what so ever.

When you have any family members with you I think you need SOMETHING...I would feel really stupid if somebody was to try and harm my family and I had nothing.

To me its better alittle safe than sorry. I am not going to take the attiude that nothing will ever happen.......we all see the news and I always wonder just what of they had some mace/pepper spray on them.........would things be different?

All it takes is one incident to change your life forever.

I am not going to take the attitude of burying my head in the sand and or hope nothing ever happens.

A small can of pepper spray or two is real cheap.....it takes up no room...no weight.....so why not....

Your going to feel really bad if some day some time...you need it....and dont think that just because it never happened it wont...thats real dumb thinking..

Kinda like a Sunami...they dont happen too often..but they do happen

Mace and pepper spray doesnt work on every one, does work well on attacking dogs, and now you have to remember that the spray can be deflected back onto you and into your eyes, use caution, Bill

I would not want that. You would have to keep a battery back up. I do not want to carry extra batteries just to feed the magazine. What if one needed it to load and the battery failed. Is there a manual load?

They have a green model with a wind turbine powered generator for back-up power.
