You know, it may have been simpler to get out and politely ask "excuse me can you move your car so I can get to the pump please"

I guess all the airhorns, bullying and idle threats are the better way to go...what was I thinking?

Some people should be taken out to the wood shed and taught a lesson every once in a while. In todays times people only think of themselves. Sad but it will come back around to haunt them later.

People like this do these things because they think they can get away with it. They count on others not being ready for confrontation like they are. I love to prove them wrong. When approached they usually swell up and act like they will stand their ground but seldom do. We ALL need to stand up for our own rights. It IS NOT their right to sit there keeping others from buying a product just because they want to. We all know not to do something like this or we will upset others. To have the nerve to try it does not make it right.

Get out of your rig, insist they leave and if they will not, go into the store and ask the manager to take care of it. If they still do not leave, get on the horn and stay there. If they threaten you and/or your rig in any way, call the authorities and let them force them to leave. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR YOUR OWN RIGHTS.

I would have reported it to a clerk in the station. I'm sure they'd be concerned.

I'd walk up and ask them if they planned to move or continue to sit there and take up space.If they planned to stay, I'd pull to within a few feet leaving the engine running...can ya feel the heat ( making sure they have no room to back up). Pull out my lawn chairs from the fiver, grab a snack and beverage or two, then setup right in front of their vehicle with my chairs facing them. Then I'd explain I'm in no hurry either I have all day.

I thought that only happened in California.

You have clerks in gas stations in your area that can understand (much less speak) English?

==============

Pulling up to the outside diesel pump the other day with my trailer, small car ran up and cut me off causing me to have to stop short or drive on top of them. Plenty of other gas pumps open. Driver walked by me and made some comment on how my skin color was oppressing her. Could not back up (bad design of gas station + I was by myself so I had no spotter) The oppressed person fortunately got their gas and left quickly.
