Just an aside - where I live is at 7000 feet above sea level (just north of where you're at), and the area attracts a lot of athletes training for upcoming events - the altitude helps them with the very thing your struggling with - just think of what kind of shape you'll be in for the rest of your trip!

...thanks for posting! Something me as a gimp RVer has to get better at: drink more water! Oh yeah, and wear a hat: especially in Arizona!

Hi to Joe, Peter, Phil and all who have answered,
We will post pics in the near future. The primary purpose for this trip was to have some work done on our TC at Lance. It has been a worry. The crew here at Lance Campers has swooped us up and brushed away all worry. I could not be more enthused regarding the customer service offered by this company. With this behind us we'll be on the trail of adventure ASAP. And it is very great to have friends from all points with which to share this lifestyle and to steer us toward the high spots. Ain't it grand?
Love to all.

Skip and Linda,
Your problem was that mad dash across WVA,VA,TN,AR,OK,TX,NM,and AZ in 6 days. We did it in 6 weeks and hardly noticed the altitude. In other words, hang in there, you'll get used to it before you know it. Great hearing about your trip. We left the SW just about the time you got there. It's a wonderful place. If you have time check out Chaco Culture Historical Park, the road's not really all that bad and the place is a wonder.
