Awesome. I hope it works out well for you. A good place to go for information on your 6.7L is here: DTR Forums. Lots of good information from a ton of knowledgeable folks. Congrats on the new truck. I've been running a 6.7 for a while now and I love it!!

Both are good trucks, and will do what you want. I'd go for the better deal, and hope for the best!
Pappy is right if Dodge is closing some are most of there Dealers and you break down on the road, Oh Oh! your in troible, same with GMC and Chevy .Go with the 350 Ford Dually . The Reliability factor of the Ford should be considered too! ... Dock
My dodge never left me stranded. Some people have more experience then others .Anybody stranded could be in trouble.
But considering Chrysler put my brother out of a job ... I'd consider a Ford "if" I was ever going to buy another Truck. The 2007.5 and newer dodge diesels are a great engine and trans setup. You won't regret it. And the deals would be great.
If looking at the NEW ford with the 6.4 I think I would get the Ford.....F450...... Its like comparing a lincoln against a crown vic..

True, but the 6.4 isnt bad either, and the Ford truck itself is FAR better quality than the dodge, thats why MOST people who are looking at cost can get the dodge cheaper.

Anybody know why?
Oh I know the answer....Cummins is a much better engine, and even Ford knows it.
Everybody is way off base with the quality of current model vehicles. I shopped them all for months. I drove over 46 trucks; new and used. The GM and Dodges were every bit as well built as every Ford owner says their truck is. The Dodge may not have the ostrich or rawhide seats that the King Ranch does, but the Larmie trim leather is outstanding!

What do you have in terms of backing up that statement?
This is kinda long, but it explains why I think Ford is better than Dodge
I've been around a ton of Fords and Dodges in my lifetime. Starting with the '77 Dodge crew cab w/ 440ci my Dad had in my childhood. He was a Dodge man through and through and owned one of the first Dodge's with a cummings in '89. That blue truck would pull anything, as long as you weren't in a hurry, but it kept having electrical problems. Then my first truck was a 1/2 ton 318 ci Dodge, speedy, but no power to pull the horse trailer, so I got a cummings, just like dads. That thing (a '91) was the biggest pile of garbage I'd ever owned (oil leaks, electrical problems, and more). Then I met my hubby, who had a '82 F-250 with a built 351 windsor. He beat the******out of that truck and it had less problems than my diesel, and he could tow just as much. Then he decided to upgrade to a '94 F-250 w/a 460 ci. Again, could tow anything my piece of junk cummings could. Then after we married, we got rid of the '91 and being raised Dodge only, bought a '98 cummings. After thousands of dollars of repairs in 6 months again (mostly electrical), I had kids and had to get rid of it. My hubby decided after putting 200,000 miles on his 460 with very few problems in that time, he bought his first 7.3L powerstroke, a '97. The injectors started to go bad (after 150,000 miles) and decided to put larger ones in, pretty soon he had it up to where it was putting over 500 horse at the rear wheels. Made it into a pulling truck full time and now we have the '04. After the 3 piss poor dodge trucks (electrical problems, and now weak frames), I won't go back. And I'm very happy that Ford has not taken any government money.
Yes, I will admit that Dodge has one hell of an engine, but for the truck overall, I vote for the Ford in durability. It also has more room and better ride than the Dodge (although I haven't been in the Mega Cab, though). And I see more Fords with over 200,000 miles on them. However, to get an even better ride, you need to go with a GMC. I've ridden in a few of them and they are really easy on the tush.

What is that Tundra post count on?? 400 by now?? Unless you count up all the 'votes' and take the one with the most, this question can never be answered by asking 'us' what 'we' think....
The only thing you can do is go with what 'you' think and that's the best choice of them all....
Just so you know, my Dad was a Ford man.. Still has his 1971 F250 'Custom Camper Special' he bought brand new in late 1970... He used that truck for slide in campers, and towing TT's and boats and hauling any and all stuff you can haul in it all the way thru the 1980's.. (he bought his first Dodge PU in 1996 and his first Cummins in 1999) He still has the F250 to handle all the 'dirty loads' he needs to haul around the property, but uses his 2005 3500 DRW Dodge Quad Cab to haul his huge Challenger 5th wheel..
He loves the Cummins engine and even thou he's had some brake issues and ball joint issues with the Dodge, he'll get another one if it comes to that...
I like the Fords too, but if I had an option, I'd get the Ford Chassis and put the Cummins engine in it with an Allison trans!
Since most folks aren't going to go that route, the thing about the number of Dodge Dealers available around the country is certainly a valid one... Dad has had to find a Dodge Dealer while on the road several times for various things and has been taken care of, but what if those dealers are gone now??
