We recently purchaced a 2010 Keystone Bullet 282BHS. The Bullet has wide set axles. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for wheel chocks that would work with the wide set axles. I am wondering if a model like the X-Chock by BAL would open wide enough for my application?

I have 16" between the tires on my Keystone Passport, I use these and I just extended one side of the threaded rod 8", any hardwere store that carries threaded rod has 2" long nuts that can be used as a coupler and I used 2 jam nuts on each side to keep it locked in place. I don't have any pics of this set up yet but will soon. Someone posted a while back that they will make a clamp style set up with 4x4s, but don't know how stabil that will be at this distance between the wheels. With my ultra fab strut stabilizers I don't have any movement to stop just needed wheel chocks. This bal chock also works on top of the yellow lego style blocks, just use enough to support the chock.

To be able to use the wood 4x4 style clamp the wood would have to be 25~30"s long top and bottom, thats allot of bulk to carry around.

As goingnorth mentioned the distance between the tires is 16 plus inches, using a homemade block and bolt system would just be to cumbersome. It looks like the X-chock does not spread out far enough to engage the tires. I may have to use a single axle chock and just put it around one tire.

I have a worse problem with my North Trail, but I am open for suggestions, too.
