Purchased a used class A and it has a motostat for the internet. Is there any market out there for a used unit like this. We have no need for one and would like to do away with it and the big dish on the roof

Motosat information will be found at Datastorm Users

Yes there is a market for used Motosat units. I suggest you make a list of all model #s of the various components you have. Any descriptions. They have on their forum a marketplace, wanted and for sale. Free to join and post.

I had the same situation with a Datastorm antenna, controller, and modem installed in a motorhome I bought.

I advertised it on the Datastorm forum and soon found out that the controller and modem were older and down level than what is currently available. That diminished the value and buyer interest.

The antenna is big and bulky and would be an expensive problem to ship to someone so I tried to to locate a buyer who was or would be in my general area......and that area was Quartzsite......the RVer's mecca. Most folks who were potentially interested lost interest when they found out they would have to purchase new controller and modem to make a workable setup.

Long story short......the antenna is still on the roof.

Maybe you will have better luck if your components are newer.
