I ordered 4 new bilstein shocks and a master battery cut off switch (it was siezed up and would not turn off) for my Spartan mountain master chassis. I did the switch yesterday and also cleaned the battery terminals and watered the house batts. I am installing the shocks today!

Over the last few days we replaced the 60 lb television in the bedroom with a 32" 1080p HDTV. Picked up a whole lot of storage space for DVDs and CDs. We started to use one the articulated arms for mounting the tv but realized very quickly that the arm took up way to much room. A side issue is that I really don't trust the arm to hold the weight of the tv during travel since we're fulltiming now. My DW suggested mounting it on a piece of plywood and use door hinges to hold it. We used 3/8" for the first pass at it. Completed the job last night and it looks good and works the way we expected it to. The only thing left to do is make a bracket to hold it up when we want to get a DVD out (someting similar to a hood support rod on a car) and once we get to Phoenix replace the Home Depot plywood with some marine grade oak plywood. I can use my BIL's shop and do the job right.

I purchased matching tile for the floor and ripped out the rug and installed it over the last few days. Quite a challenge but happy now that I don't have to deal with that crappy rug. Looks great!

I posted earlier that I was installing 4 Bilstien shocks... Well I could not budge the nuts loose, My son came bye right at the right time (right for me, not him!) took about 3 hours to change 4 shocks. The rears went pretty well as we, um, he could get my impact to all 4 bolts/nuts (1 1/8 inch socket and box wrench) He could not get the impact to the bottom bolts on the fronts and had to do them with just the wrenchs. I am lucky he came over!!! Job done!!! The shocks needed replacing, the rears were toast, the fronts were quite weak.

Yesterday we filled the propane tank, parked in the back yard. Not sure if we'll do one more week end trip, if not start winterizing project.

DH measured something. The dog checked her food and water dish. I took a few things out that I had purchased at Dollar Tree. If you like chocolate covered graham crackers they have some we love. They are fudge covered grahams and they are delicious.
