Replaced the speakers in the sound system.

Why I ask, every now and then my speakers shut down then start working then off again. Also my floor speakers (bass) don't work at all. I don't know if it is the speakers or the radio or something else.

hey bobpie,
i recently had failure of bulkhead speakers.
took them out of overhead enclosure and found all the maufacturing sawdust from them cutting the holes was PACKED into the speakers themselves...cleaned them out and they now work perfectly.
pull em out and have a looksee, if you havent already.
also, your connections may be loose, easy to see and fix as well by just popping them out to look at them.
hope thats all it is...

Modified the toilet sprayer so it could be used without having to flush the toilet at the same time.

That's something I would like to do too. How does one go about changing it? TIA

Had some water lines freeze up last winter so I added 1 1/2" rigid insulation below that area. Also insulated my dump valve compartment. Hope this helps this winter.

Installed a couple weeks ago an amp and Bose 301's for tailgating this fall .

Fixed a piece of hardware (the clip that holds drawer closed) for kitchen drawer that had been shoved off original mounting position. Screws had been mounted too close to back edge and the wood gave way after (how many?) hundred closures of the drawer. Took hardware off, glued wood back together, 24 hours to set up and put everything back together.

Took all the drawers out and tightened all fittings and screws, addding several where more anchor was needed. Result was firming up the drawer slides and improved operation of the drawers.
