Just finished unloading it after our recent trip to New York. Going to take it to Camping World to upgrade Satellite, antenna, service frig, and a safety check before we head to the West Coast and fulltiming for the next six months or more.

Went over to my storage unit an unhooked everything as I have an appointment at my dealer to inspect a defective slide topper under warranty. It will take me and hour each way, 5 minutes to inspect it, supposed to rain so another two hours to wash and dry it and who knows when I'll be able to open the slide to let the topper dry out. Had to cancel my last appointment because it snowed. Bummer

I cleaned "love bugs" off the front of my class A today. Here in Florida, at certain times in Spring and Fall, these pesky, acidy pests swarm and cause havoc on the roads. They can permenently blemish paint jobs if left stuck to vehicles for more than a couple of days. I'd heard that moist Bounce fabric softener sheets would remove the "toxic" bug residue. Sure enough, to my pleasant surprise they did! It still was a tough job, the front end surface area is a bit large. But without the sheets, it could have been much worse!

Wednesday started the de-winterizing process. Finished yesterday by checking/topping off the tires. So far only had to get a new starting battery as the trickle charger I plugged in didn't work even though the light indicated that it was working. Bought a new one at Menard's for $20 before taxes. Whoops, forgot to run the furnace. Darn, I'll do that this morning before we leave for camping - rain showers/thunderstorms with a daytime temp of 60°F for the whole weekend.

Just received my rear track bar...expect to install it next weekend. Will be installing the new Scan Guage on Monday. I think I have all of the small stuff repaired. Taking our new to us MH out for the first time this weekend. Getting ready for a three week trip in June. So far, so good.
