Will be going from WI to FL at the end of the month, and considering a late afternoon departure we would like to stop somewhere in N. IN off of I65. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations.

(not a wal-mart)

Thanks!

you can try these websites.

the only camp ground I have stayed at was Indiana Dunes State Park, not sure how far north you want to be.

Driftwood RV park south of Indy & north of Columbus is just off I-65 right across the street from an outlet mall. It's definitely not a destination park but ok for overnight. Full hookups if you want them. Not too many $$$. We've used it for an overnighter but nothing else.

The only campground I know in N. Indiana is Caboose Lake Campground, at exit 201, just off of I-65.
Haven't had a chance to stay there but it looks pretty clean, and wouldn't be bad for one night. There is lots of seasonals there but not bad.

Prophetstown State Park is in Battle Ground, just north of Lafayette. Very new park, full hookups, approx. 5 miles from the I65 exit.

Thanks everyone...

Got some great ideas around the 250 mi range which is perfect for a stop after a late afternoon start.
