We did a quick outing in the Scamp the first week of May 2009, stayed 3 nights up in the Cloudcroft area at a Forest Campground.
It was a shake down cruise to see what we needed but didn't remember to pack along. There were a few things. It was great up there,
almost the whole campground to ourselves. So nice and cool. The campground was at 9,000 feet. Our Stay Cloudcroft & Area Private Campgrounds

We have also stayed at or near Bluff Springs - This popular dispersed area has a small waterfall, with springs located 200 yards above. Access to T113 (Willie White) can be found here. There are some bike trails in the area as well & motorcycles ones as well. Other trails Rails to Trails and Camping and Ruidoso Trails and Trail listings
