Contact the City you live in an ask for the phone number of who picks up the trash in your city...then give them a call and they should be able to tell you what to do, or where to take them...

Mr Heater makes a adapter that you can use to refill the little ones fron a 20# tank. I have one and it works fine.

Jim

Mr Heater also makes a nice 12 foot propane hose that has one end that will hook to a regular DOT cylinder and the other end to your stove or what ever just like the 1 lb tanks does. No regulator on the hose. Works great and no more 1 lb tanks to worry about. Found at the local Tractor Supply store. Was something like $20.00.

I have one of those hoses for my grill2go. But I still like to have a couple of the 1lb for the little lunchbox size grill when we make day trips to a park. What happens now is I unscrew the tank from the grill valve and the tank leaks the rest down in a couple days. They used to last the summer.
