We like the Twin Lakes campground out of Bridgeport, but judging by your pic you would probably not do well there with that size coach. Zephyr Cove in Tahoe is a very nice well kept campground, though a little pricy as it is associated with the hotel across the street. Their bathrooms are very clean and their campsites are hand raked.

For RV parks around Bishop we like Boulder Creek in Lone Pine or Highland RV park in Bishop although the sites are pretty close together here but OK for a couple days,if going to Yosemite over 120 Mono Vista RV Park in Lee Vining,in Tahoe Tahoe Valley RV Resort in South Lake by the Y at hwy.50 and 89 or Zephyr Cove with this being my choice if no children with you,the only park in Sacramento worth staying at would be the KOA in Placerville off hwy 50 in Shingle Springs. These are all FH parks. Have fun

The City of South Lake Tahoe campground is terrific and you won't have a problem with your rig. We camp there often with a 36' MH. The only take reservations by phone....call 530 542 6096. Enjoy

Do you need campground recommendations for Bishop and South Lake Tahoe or for something on the way?

Just in Lone Pine is Boulder Creek RV Resort. We've stayed there on our way home as an overnighter from South Lake Tahoe. Basic but very nice amenities. Right off 395.

Central California - There's Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles.

Our favorite Sacramento area park is Folsom Lake State Park at Beal's Point. They have full hookups, five minute walk to the lake. It's a great park, enough trees to feel like you're way out in the boonies, although there's a heavily traveled road nearby.
The only other place in Sacramento I'd recommend is the Cal Expo. Nothing fancy. A large asphalt lot with small trees, but in the center of everything.
The KOA in Placerville is pretty nice. We looked it over. But for visiting Sacramento, it's probably 40-50 miles east of downtown and Old Sacramento.

Our favorite campground in Lake Tahoe is Sugar Pine Point state park. Beautiful park lots of shade and pine trees.
