I am confused, my MH Brochure says I have a Gas/Electric Water Heater, it's a MPD 93756 6 Gallon Water Tank, sitting in a 2004 Georgia Boy. What I want to know is can it run on Electric instead of Gas. There is a Rocker Switch in front of the Water Heater that says Off/ON mounted on a small square box and a Electrical wire running to it, what is this for. I understood from the Dealer that it will run on Gas or Electric but I don't see how, and in the Kitchen there is a Panel that says DSI Water Heater. I am at lost now how to get it going, need help.

What you call the front is the rear of the W/H. The front is outside.
DSI= Direct Spark Ignition and means it lights without a match from the Kitchen panel. That panel is the LP light switch.
If you have a 120 electrical wire running to the BACK of the W/H then that rocker switch is indeed the 120 element On/Off switch. Where did you get that Model number? I have never seen any Atwood W/H with a model number even close to what you posted. The Model and serial will be on the front of the W/H ouside. Doug
Thanks everyone for the replies, I found a certified tech. and he explained everything to me and showed me how it works, it is gas or electric. I did find the model number and it is like the reply from GTN and CATZ in there answer, thanks again everyone and happy motoring.
