How can Bear post from photobucket and I can't? I get "bad response from server".

I don't know how to explain it to you any better than I have.

First, we don't know which portal he was using. If he was using Woodall's for example, there would be no issue.

Even if he is using RV.Net, there would probably be no issue. Here is his URL

Notice that there are no % symbols in it.

Notice the two % symbols in the middle. The RV.Net portal cannot process that, for some reason unknown to me.

BTW, the %20 in your URL represent spaces. Leave the spaces out of the names of your files, when you upload them to Photobucket and my guess is that you won't have % symbols in your URLs.

Thanks Tom. I Didn't know about the spaces causing the percent symbol. I did use Woodall's portal to post some pictures. I didn't know Woodall's and RV.Net were one and the same. I thought I would have to create a new account.

It's not the space directly, and it spaces shouldn't be a problem. However, certain characters can cause problems in a URL; the space character is one of them. Instead of using those characters in a URL, website encode them with their hexadecimal (base 16) equivalent. The percent sign indicates the next two characters form a hexadecimal number and should be interpreted as the appropriate character. The base 10 number for a space is 32. In base 16, that would be 20. Thus, %20 in a URL is interpreted as a space.

Again, all of that should cause no trouble. However, the RV.Net portal cannot process the %, for some, as yet, unknown reason. Thus, a space in a URL does cause a problem for the RV.Net portal.

Don't quote or copy this post. I used a "trick" to display the %. Copying or quoting the post will negate the trick.
