Don't know if I've said it before because I don't remember if I've seen it before, but you have a fantastic looking rig! And your camping spot/area is super inviting. My list of places just keeps growing, thanks for posting.

Thanks Whazoo! We like it. I read in your latest trip report, which was awesome bye the way, that you might be coming up this way? Let us know if you do, we would love to join up with you and have a cold one or two!

Without a doubt Tizi, we'd love to. Now if you can just keep posting those great trips and places to camp, they are inspiring, while we sit here in Phoenix perspiring, and we hope to move before we're expiring. I'd love to see some interior shots of your camper sometime also!

Nicely done.

If I could ask, what kind of dog do you have? Almost appears to be a wheat colored scottie.

She is a Cairn Terrier - red wheaton. The same dog as in the wizard of oz, except not black.

Camped there about 5 years ago, Great park. Thank for the great pics by the way. I'm gonna have to make it out there again. Were headed to Grayland Beach SP next weekend(19-22), another great ocean park!

Are some of the spots right on the beach at Grayland?

No sites are on the beach, there is maybe a hundred yards between our favorite site(#83) and the beach. If you look on the State Parks website at the pictures of site 83, you see a grassy hill, just up and over that hill and its a short walk out to the beach, we loved the access, our dog loved playing frisbie, and had miles of beach to do it! Love seeing your trip reports! Happy camping! And nice truck!

Found some pics to give you an idea:

Site 83 with hill on right

Site 83 from top of hill looking down

View of the ocean if you turn around, standing on top of the hill

I checked it out online. Very nice. Looks like it books up fast. Might have to do it 9 months out in order to get that one.

We camped there on the 10th through the 12th this year. Had a great time and weather was pretty good. Wife rated the site a 10 because of the beach access and view. Didn't see our rig in your pic, when did you stay. We drive a new 2008 ford red/silver with a citation camper. Great pics.
