Remember...I-95 SOUTH!
Hey Jim,
Denise here giving you an update on the trip for Mike. This morning around 8:15am, in North Carolina, Mike experienced a blowout in one of the tires on the camper. They are ok, the camper has some minimal damage. He got someone to come out and put the spare on for him($150). He talked to his contact at Forrest River, who told him what to do so that everything is taken care of. I found a tire center in Lumberton, NC for Mike to go and change out the Chinese tires for some GoodYear tires($1500). The cost of the roadside help and the new tires are going to be reimbursed, along with whatever the cost is to repair the trailer damage.
He got back on the road after getting all the tires replaced around 1:20pm and is now almost through South Carolina. He will be stopping in South Georgia for the night and heading to Disney in the morning.
Kimmy and I will join him and Connie on Tuesday night as we had to stay back for student orientation at the University of Delaware on Tuesday, we will fly down that night.
I think the campground he is at tonight has wifi. Hopefully the rest of the trip will be alot better now!!!!

Bummer. Glad no one was hurt. Would have been cheaper for Forest River to put Goodyears on it when they made it.
Thanks for the update. Hopefully the rest of the trip will be uneventful.

2004 Jeep Liberty Don't take your organs to Heaven. Heaven knows we need them here! Dave has a dog named Muffy and Mike owns a Cockapoo!
Staying at a friend's oceanfront condo this week in Brigantine, NJ. The sights are spectacular and the weather is perfect. Not RVing, but it's a free stay, so, hard to pass up.
Hope Mike, Denise & girls enjoy the Fort this week and the trip back is completely smooth with those new tires.
Looks like this will be our only time away this summer...looking forward to this gathering in the fall!
