Join folks in beautiful Central New York State during the apple picking season at a fantastic RV destination. No better location exists for this Gathering as the area offers endless recreational opportunities, and you camp in a spectacular RV Resort.
This is a great time of year to visit this part of New York State. Just a few days after the official start of the Fall season.
There is a lot to do in this area, or, if you prefer, there is a lot of relaxing to be done in a great spot. (The Syracuse RV Show is usually held on this weekend at the fair grounds in Syracuse, NY.)
Like history? TONS of it in this area. Baseball Hall of Fame is not far away. Remington Arms is nearby. Great freshwater fishing is nearby. Test your fishing skills during the salmon run!
World-Class golf courses are located at Turning Stone. The PGA Tour makes a stop here! (The former BC Open)
Heck...we enjoy the drive along the NY State Thruway that time of year as it parallels the Mohawk River/Erie/Barge Canal waterway.
Can you say "Foliage"? Do you know the words to the Erie Canal Song?
During that time of year, the days are usually just warm enough to go with no sweater, and the clear, crisp cool nights hint at the Winter to come.
This Gathering usually boasts some of the BEST potluck food ever!
Did I mention that The Villages At Turning Stone is one of, if not the highest rated camping resorts in the Northeast?
Don't forget the casino if that's your thing.
Ask Farmer Brown nicely, and I bet he offers up a tour of a dairy farm.
Do the brewery tour in Utica! Saranac Beer brewed here!
Once again, we have arranged for sites 402 - 424 along the pond. Map
Sites are blocked off for Friday through Sunday, so if you would like to come in earlier, or stay later, feel free.
Sign up for a fantastic camping weekend, in a fantastic location, with a bunch of fantastic people.

Sorry Chris, gotta ask, are you going to come:
A. if Barb gets a full time teaching position
or
B. if Barb doesn't get a full time teaching position??
there are those of us who need to know so that we can be asking for something specific, keeping in mind that we want to see you at TS.
We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history.........
James, guess who your neighbor is??? Put me, uhhhhh, US, down for site 402!! Not to wish away the summer, but we are looking forward to seeing everyone. And,,,,,,,,,,,,BTW, we will be celebrating a BIG birthday for Linda this year!! Why big? You have to ask her!!
We're hoping Barb gets a full time position, but if she does, she likely won't be able to take the day off.
On one hand, I could come up with the boys and let her have a "testosterone free weekend" but on the other hand, if we left after work on Friday, we'd be there about 10pm or so.
