Our Winnie is a former rental. Bought it from El Monte with a lot of miles on it but so far its been great for the past 2 years. We just replaced the circuit board on the water heater and upgraded the suspension but thats been about it.

I have had my Cruise America Four Winds for over a year and it has been great so far. They put on the awning for a reasonable price too!

I bought a 24' Jayco four years ago it had 66,000 KM's on it.It was a rental from a small dealer. It has 100,000 KM's on it now.I'm quite happy with it,I've put tires, shocks and a few other repairs on it nothing to serious.Plan to put a lot more KM's on it.

Our advise is don't do it! We bought a 2005 Forest River Sunseeker (in 2007), from a reputable dealer, that had been a rental. It looked pretty good on the surface but it was worn out beyond it's years and mileage. The list of things needing repair or replacement is too long to list here, but suffice it to say that from broken springs and bent frame in the sofa (it looked ok until you sat on it) to the loose gearshift lever and passenger armrest to the sometimes inoperative slide, etc, it was a big disappointment. Some things were very nice, Michelin tires were excellent, the brakes were good, the oil had been changed and other routine maintenance preformed regularly, and it ran well. However, it took many hours and dollars to get it to the point that we could go camping in it without worrying that we could get back home without a failure of some kind! We sold it to another dealer (who should know) and were glad to be rid of it!

We bought a 20 foot 2004 motorhome last fall with 72000 km on it, for $24000 from a reputable local dealer. The dealer promised to make sure everything worked. It was too late to test it last fall and this spring we found only one problem, the fresh water tank level indicator does not work. We are so pleased with everything else that I didn't take it back for repair.

Just this last week-end I watched a man fill the freshwater tank of his Cruise America Class C using the dump stations water hose connected to the 'non potable water' faucet.

Be sure to flush and sanitize after you buy it!

became a 1994 Coleman Pioneer Arcadia,
now it is 1994 Jayco Eagle 24' M230.

A used 20 footer is just about what I'm looking for. Can't find any in my area. We collectively have a population of a bit over 1 million people but very little in the way of used RV inventory.
I considered renting but the little info that I could glean was sizes bigger than I wanted and for a lot of money ($ 300 per day). I have tried to fill out the questionaires with some of the national RV dealers but seem to be bombarded with SPAM's so I quit doing that.
I'm open to suggestions.
