I contacted my dealer about the tire. They have bent over backwards in trying to rectify this. I am bringing the unit in Monday to have the second air installed and was told by the owner that one way or another, they will all be replaced at no charge. I will pay close attention as to what that replacement is.

I'll keep you posted on what happens.

Thank you for all your replies.

Matt

So, they are still suppling Raptors with 15" wheels? I think the only E rated tires for 15" rims are Chinese. I converted my 05 to 16" and I'm using Uniroyal LT E rated tires. No problems in around 6K miles. Run them at 80psi and check air and temp often.

Maxxis makes 15" E rated tires. They are not Chinese, at least mine are not. But OP still has D rated WHEELS!

Running Michelins without any problems. The BFGs and Firestones are good tires also.

I had the OEM Transmaster tires. Started to get checking around the rim so, replaced them (well - actually 4 of 6 of them that had checking) last year.

We got the Goodyear Marathon tires to go on our 16" rims.

The Michelin's look to be one of if not the best tire out there but, if you need to air-down to go through the sand, you won't get them to air-down at all.

Don't get me wrong - I prefer to not air down the tires at all. I hope the sidewalls hold-up well but, that always concerns me.

The Michelin's were also a different size tire than what I had so, I would have had to replace all 6 tires. If you are looking at replacing all tires - the Michelin's should be on the top of your choice list. Start saving your pennies.

You will get all kinds of advise and all kinds of reasons for your tires blowing out.You will not hear the experts tell you that there is not a not a quality tire available. My 2002 Wildcat came equiped with Carlisle ST225-75-15 D tires. In two years all the three tires had blown out and one tread separation. While negocating a settlement with Carlisle I put on a set of Goodyear Marathon. These plus another two more failed or blew out.I had found out after buying the Goodyear tires that my origional Carlisle tires were made by Goodyear as that was who paid for my trailer damage.Carlisle replaced my origional set with five new tires sent to my home.I have since blown or replaced these tires due to defects, three tires total that had tread separation issues.I have been replacing tires now with Carlisle E rated tires and since then have blown out one tire. There was not 1/64 of wear on that tire.Forums will tell you your tires are old while my tires were never older than three years. They will tell you that your trailer is overloaded while knowing my trailer was not I spent the nine dollars for weigh scales and found my axles had 7700# load when I was fully wet and loaded on a trip.Thats over 2000# under.Failures have occured on both sides of the trailer and on both axles. They will tell you it is your axles yet my tires do not exibit abnormal tire wear. They will tell you that your tires are underflated.I have been an RVer for over thirty five years and have had two Tonge pull,5th wheel,Cabover and Mini Motorhome campers plus many cars, trucks & trailers and not had tire issues. They will not tell you that tire manufactures are not building a good tire and they could make a better tire. They will not tell you that DOT does little or nothing about these problems. They will not offend advertisers. What you need to do is what I have done.Buy a good hydraulic jack,an electric impact wrench, carry two extra spare tires under your sofa(these tires can be hard to find),save all bad tires and return them to your good hometown dealer for adjustment and pray you do not die changing a tire.Good luck on American tires too because it doesn't seem to matter where their made and seems their all made in China now.

On a side note, did anyone see the special on Fox News about China dumping junk tires at cheap prices on us? Some people are wanting to add a tax to the tires so they won't be so cheap and the the China companies will have to step up the quality to be competitive. Others are saying we can't do it, good old politics!

I didn't get all the details since I only caught a little bit of it but at least it is starting to be looked at.
