I carry three electric skillets -since we do most of our cooking outside in electric skillets, and I got tired of having to lift two of them up to get to the one I needed. I'm short and that's not too safe trying to do that while standing on a stepstool. Made this rack out of PVC pipe to hold them. Thought you'd enjoy seeing it.

great idea (but where do you store the lids?) I see you store your toaster oven "up high" also...I have racked my brain for lower storage for our toaster oven (I have to stand on the dinette bench to get mine out of the overhead cabinet).
I'm going to use your idea, but on a bigger scale for our pass thru area under the MH to hold chairs and tables!

The lids just sit on top of the skillets. They are lightweight. I took them off so the rack would show up in the photo.
It was a little expensive - nearly $30.00 for all the elbows and t connections, if you shopped around for the stuff, I'm sure you could make it cheaper, but it was a fun project.
I hate storing the toaster oven up there also, hubby has to get it down for me, but aside from the bedroom closet, there's no other place???
Great idea and thanks for sharing it. I am also heigth challenged. I store my toaster/convection oven in the storage space under one of the dinette benches.
