I think the easiest solution is to buy a small bungee cord and wrap it around the top of all the hangers, tying them together. Camp on!

Based on even stuffing the closet so tight with clothes still dumped the whole mess on the floor I doubt that will work. The hangers will try and jump up and unless you prevent them from coming off the rod trying to keep them from either jumping up with something on top of the rod, etc. the solution I came up with unless you have a locking hanger is the only solution I can see working all the time. My solution prevents the hanger from moving away from the bar when it jumps up and then just lands back on the rod vice coming off the bar. Of course I haven't ridden back there to see exactly why they jump off, but what I use now works as long as you don't forget to put the spring rod in there.

We just bent the hangers to fit better. Now they stay put. They look funny, but who cares. Only used in TT.

I like the vacuumn cleaner hose idea. I think I will give that a try before our next trip.
I bought a bunch of those locking hangars and used them on our trip to Florida this spring. They do work, 3000 miles and not one hanger came off. But they are a pain in the rump! They fit so tightly(guess that is good), that I can't get them off without a ton of effort.
If the vacuumn hose works on our next trip, about 500 miles, the locking hangars are done! I'll let you know!

Does your RV suspension have shock absorbers? If not, adding them may help the ride considerably & keep things from jumping around in the rear. I have shocks, & I can stack books, etc., on open shelves in the rear & things are almost always exactly where I left them after travel.

Duct tape.

Try slowing down on rough roads. We use cheap plastic hangers from the Dollar store and they don't fall down.

My motorhome does not have rods in the closets. It has bars with holes that you put the hook on the hanger thru. Clothes stay hung and spaced.

What I do is not hang the clothes in the back closet until we reach our destination. For the ride there I lay them in middle of our bed and hang them in the closet when we arrive. They stay on the bed just fine.

I use a tension rod I hang the clothes then move the tension rod on top of the hanger hooks.

simple and so far works for us no more clothes on bottom of closet.

A dear departed friend use to worry that the swinging back and forth would wear the clothes.

I never noticed this but if you have to have something to worry about.

clothes wearing out from hanging in you trailers closet is as good as anything.
