A friend is letting me park my TT in a lot he owns this summer as the Mrs. doesn't care for it out front of the house.

The lot is a gravel area with lots of grass and weeds growing up tall through the gravel.

I know mice etc. can be a real problem when storing in a field in the winter; I was wondering if that is a problem in the summer I should be thinking about. Maybe even ants or other bugs?

If so, what countermeasures are effective?

Just spray down the area with some vegetation killer and bug killer where you plan to park it. By me, mice are not a problem until the Fall when cooler temps have them looking for a warmer place to nest.

If I was borrowing a buddy's property I would maintain it. Get out the weed killer and the lawn mower.

I wouldn't worry about rodents. Rodents look for food. Keep the food out of the trailer.

The weeds growing under the camper will accelerate rusting.
