I just put mud flaps on my TV. Took care of the rock and gravel issues.

wouldn't want to add that kind of weight up top... and it seems to me on the line of what the OP is asking unless the diamond plate is made of diamonds how do you figure diamond plate is more expensive than the linex material?
i haven't shopped but i would think diamond plate is cheaper.

i haven't shopped but i would think diamond plate is cheaper. I was thinking the same thing. The thin diamond plate they use on TT`s is not that expensive. Linex or other similar products is around $500 to do a truck bed, so I`m thinking 3 to 400 to do the lower front of the TT.

Herculiner DIY bedliner. A quart costs $40 +/- for grey, white, or red. From their website, Herculiner.com, it appears that you can roll it on. Auto parts stores stock or can get. I've seen off-road Jeeps that have their interior done in it for easy cleanup. Mask very carefully. It sticks to almost anything. With diamond plate you would have to cut to size/shape, fasten, then seal edges.

I had my local boat-canvas guy make up a vinyl snap-on cover for the front of my TH (about 70% the frontal area of a TT)....no dings, no bugs, no cleaning....$65 including the SS snaps.

I used spray-on bedliner on a small area of the keel on my boat. I beach it alot, so the aluminum was taking a beating there. Since the liner was sprayed on....no more scuffing the aluminum. It's great stuff.
You folks may want to rethink the "out of level" thing though. Absorbtion refrigerators can be damaged by operating out of level. Short term damage is minimul but, over a long period of time you could end up with a problem that is quite expensive to repair.
Most fridges have a 3deg front to back, and 6deg side to side tolerance level. Beyond that damage will start to occur where liquid pools at the low temp evaporator. If out of level, the liquid can't flow so it ends up burning the anti-corrosion products that are mixed with the coolant. (usualy sodium chromate) The stuff hardens and blocks the tubes causing failure of the cooling unit.

I had the lower 3 ft. or so of the front of my TT sprayed with Rhinoliner about 6 years ago. The result looks very professional, & if you didn't know better, you'd think it was installed at the factory. Its done a good job taking care of the rock chip problem. This was done at the suggestion of Jayco customer service.
