Most campgrounds will not let you use that or a hose to wash your units/
I do a bucket wash, that they will allow, takes longer, but do one side a day, with front and back the same. Besides it takes up room.

I appreciate the comments and I'll share those with DH. I'm leaning toward selling the power washer now since we will be staying at campgrounds and they most likely won't allow RV washing anyway with a hose or a power washer. I think the "bucket" method is going to end this dilemma. When we visit one of our kids, we could use their power washer or a hose.

I will be full time by the 29th July. I am selling my Karcher in the garage/moving sale on the 18th. I have never washed the MH with anything stronger than a hose and brush. If I need a power washer I'll take it to a truck wash.

My MH gets washed once a year in Yuma for $35 bucks. The rest of the time, I use a spray bottle and wipe it down in sections at a time. In the last five years, I've used a carwash pressure wash twice and that was only because I wanted to wash my radiator (rear radiator). I would never sacrafice the weight and space for a pressure washer.

We use a non-rinsing soap to wash our 35' Georgie Boy. Takes only one bucket
of water and 2-3 caps full of soap. I use a soft brush on a long handle
and brush on the soap mixture and the my wife follows with a towel over a
long handled squeegee to dry. Works very well for us. The non-rinsing soap
can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Camp World, or any RV dealer.

As with all things, how much room does it take and how often will you use it? They can be rented.

I agree.

I'm hard pressed to think of a power washer as a have-to-have item, and if you "need" a power washer to wash your RV, I'd say that you have more problems than just deciding on the power washer (i.e., if the dirt and grime won't come off with a soft brush, you MIGHT just need to wash it more than once a decade! )
