So I'm finally getting air bags for my 07' F-350. Ive had air bags before on other trucks with out a TC and usually install the air supply vavles on the rear bumber, on either side of the license plate. But with my AF 990 it cover the rear bumber. So my question is: Where did you guys install your vavle so that you can adjust you air presure while the TC is on you truck?
Thanks
Matt

Mine are attached on the opposite corners under the rear bumper.

I mounted mine under the dash, on the left side of the steering wheel. I could sit in the seat, out of the rain and wind, and air the bags. I never get mud on the valves. Since my original install, I installed a cab controller. I "T"ed into my under dash air supply valves. I can use the under dash valves if my controller fails. I also mounted the controller in the cab, under the center console.

If you don't want one of the cab controller systems (I don't), then plumb them into the fuel door. Always on top for a long camper plus a mostly protected spot.
I have a short camper so the bumper mounting works well. I do have to reach under the overhang. A few quick strokes with the bicycle pump to adjust my pressure.

I would go with the incab controller. Then you can air up on the spot and air out when you get to the camping spot. AIr back up and not have to carry the camper 190 miles down the road to get to an air hose.
Good luck

I had the air bags installed yesterday and the business asked where I wanted the stems, I had no clue, so they said most of them they install are in the fuel door, I like this location, dont have to bend over or worry about the stem being hit with something, but I also like the in cab installation too!

I installed behind the fuel door also because my little 12v pump would still reach that area from the battery connection up front. It works well there and no crawling around the rear bumper under the edge of camper. Don't forget to keep the two sides seperate.

I have mine in the wheel wells, this setup uses only a short piece of hose for each side.
