also timely for me. i have them (all four corners) on my F150, but i'm getting my bags this week. Thanks for the fuel door idea.
on my F150 i put them like wsdepa did, i like the short line approach, and i had holes in that area i didn't have to drill (I think i put them through existing holes in the frame). but yes, a bugger to get to when the camper's on.
Joe (and for the benifit of others) speaking from experience, in had timbrens on the F150, and now they're on the superduty... Get the airbags! I love the timbrens, but they do not replace airbags or more springs. i speak from experience: i thought they were fine, and substitued well... but i stand corrected. if you see my photo, the truck sits well (no airbags, just timbrens) problem is, the roads slight bouncing, is telescoped through the timbrens, and the camper has a short-rough-tight bounce (MOST of the time!). surely this will go away when i mount my airbags next weekend.
