Professional camper in my opinion would be about the same thing as a "post turtle" or career politician.

Probably best to avoid altogether if possible.

I think that someone like the late Gaylord Maxwell might just qualify as a "Professional" camper, even though he travelled in a motorhome he did spend a lot of time "teaching" camping in his seminars. Few and far between tho...... JMHO

If I ever meet one, I'll let ya know. IMHO: If there really is such a thing, they're probably all locked up somewhere in the northwest territories.

Happy camping!!! See ya'll down the road!!!

Hmmm... reminds me of a lady MD friend of long ago. She wanted to start up a singles' group for docs, lawyers, nurses, teachers, etc.... We had a long discussion over the ramifications of calling it a "single professionals group" vs a "professional singles group".... Yeah, there is a difference!

Uh, it wouldn't be the first time that someone with an RV and an over inflated sense of self worth might exaggerate their value to themselves and their camping neighbors. Look around here.

That pretty well describes it.

Having the good fortune of using a camper instead of motels, I can appreciate the relative calm and cleanliness of a campground during the week, as opposed to the weekends, during the camping season. However, I have trouble in getting a grasp on the "professional camper" concept. LOL.

Depends on the definition of "professional". If they were being literal, then it simply means they make income camping somehow.

My guess is they were joking.

I have a friend who drinks in bars often. He won't go out New Years Eve as he calls it "amatuer night".

Not a night a professional drinker such as himself would go to a bar.

Well, actually tourists. For only $20 million, you can go to the Space Station.
