My 05 Raptor 3612 DS is having a fuel stattion issue. When I flip the on switch on to turn on the gas pump it will not turn on. Has anyone ever had this problem before. Once I had to replace a fuse, and that solved the problem, but this time the fuse is not bad.

JFJ I assume you already checked the cut off switch? Our 05 3612 had one setup on the battery, removed the knob to kill the power to the fuel pump. Do you have anything like this?

Check the fuse. opps sorry saw that. Is it the type you turn the knob on that has a timer? I've seen those go bad.

If you have power to main switch for fuel pump -I would make sure you have power before and after the timer next. If you have power here - next power check is at the pump...

My trailer has two switches. It has the timer inside, then another switch outside by the fueling station. The switch that is located outside is not an outdoor/sealed type. So it gets wet and corrodes a little from time to time. Sometimes I have to mess with it and reseat the leads on the back of it to get power to pump. One of these days I will change it with a better sealed switch.

The only switch I know a/b is the one on the pump...actually a small lever that you flip and then the pump starts running. I don't know anything a/b a timer or a separate switch at the battery compartment. I do see where the wiring goes to the battery and has a fuse on it. I have had to replace this once before, but this time the fuse is not bad. I did recently go to a 6 volt battery setup (two) from a 12 volt setup. Could I have messed something up here?

Since the 6 volt batteries are connected in series, you should NOT have any trailer wires connected to either battery in middle. (The positive and negative that connects the batteries together.)

Beyond that everything else would work the same way.

If it is a Greco (PBL) pump, it could be the gears, your trailer is in the age group. It will usually blow the fuse, but I have seen it when is doesn't. Even had the key (plastic) break on the drive gear on a buddies. Couldn't hear the pump running until you crawled under the trailer and put your ear near it.

What River&Sand said. I had this happen on my Raptor when it was brand new. They came out with a different type of gear. Problem solved!!
