Two points I will make. The 50% rule is for maximum dollar value when full timing off your batteries. There is nothing wrong with taking the batteries lower if you only occasionally boondock. 20% is the recommended DOD for occasional discharges (10 to 20 times a year) and if you completely kill the battery once in a great while it is no big deal if you get it charged back up that day, although doing this on a regular basis will greatly shorten the battery life.
The second point is the 186 AH for the E3600 may seem low but that is what it is rated at.
