We originally started looking at getting into RVing about 2 years ago and stopped looking because we weren't entirely sold on the idea of a pup (lack of bathroom for DW and security/privacy).
Has anyone had experiences with these (good or bad)? Any feedback would be most helpful on anything we should look out for.
We put a deposit down on one because we liked the size/weight/build quality of the unit. I hope to pick it up this week. We're very excited to finally be able to own a TT and can't wait to get on the road!
Not too many people have them, as you might have guessed. They look really cute, I know that. Have seen one (in 3-4 years time) so far. Good luck with the purchase!
If you want something for comparison, perhaps there's a dealer in your area that carries R-Pod trailers. They're made by Forest River and are similar in size & appearance to the T@Da's.
I would suggest rvreviews and see what actual owners have to say about them.

We bought a T@da last summer and love it. We have the one with the rear kitchen. Originally we wanted the XFLD (U shaped front dinette) but when we came across ours, (named it the Firefly) the price was so good that we compromised. The only regret we have is that it doesn't have a 3 way fridge. The electric fridge is very small, even for 2 of us. We recently bought a thermo electric cooler, one that can be 12V or electric, used it on our last camping trip, we were camping with 2 of our grandchildren, sure was glad to have the extra space.
We tow with a Volvo XC70 and average between 22 MPG and 24 MPG. We are leaving on a 5000 mile trip to the pacific NW and Vancouver Island next week. It will be interesting to see what our average MPG is. We've never towed the Firefly through mountain terrain before. I keep refining my packing and what I take. Finally switched to a metal canister for my silverware, it fits under the sink nicely and is easy to grab and put on the picnic table. I love the rear kitchen when eating outdoors. Everything is handy, just open the door and reach in. We have found the quality of workmanship to be good, our table was wobbly, but the dealership took care of that. There is a T@da forum as well as a t@b forum. They are on Yahoo. Both are very informative. Much of the stuff posted n the t@b forum can be applied to the T@da. Check them out. Hope you enjoy your t@da. Feel free to email me if you have questions.

We looked at the R-Pod's at a different dealer, they were cool little trailers, but as far as craftsmanship they didn't feel as solid as the T@DA's/T@B's feel (cabinets, fixtures). They do have considerably more headroom than the T@DAs. That's the one thing I don't like, but to be honest, I don't spend too much time standing up inside anyways. I'm not useful in the kitchen.

Looking at the options for the 2010 models, I noticed that the TXL-FD (front diner) is the only one you can get a 3-way fridge installed on. That happens to be the floorplan that we are about to purchase.
Those look like pretty neat little trailers... My only complaint from the specs is the fridge. It's not obvious why a 6cf propane/electric unit wouldn't fit.
I have had my T@da for 7 months now and the only thing I'd would trade it for is an Airstream, but they have to be waxed and mine just needs to be washed. I have the 2 refers and they are adequate for 3 people for a week. I get 20 mpg towing with a 4 cyl jeep liberty crd. I have had -0- problems with the trailer. It is well built and very cozy in the winter and the heat pump/ac will freeze you out in the summer. It has thermopane windows and tows wonderful. I prefer the cassette toilet, so easy to empty and all you need is a 10 gallon blue tote for the sink or use an airstream bucket, no one will know the difference. There is a shower, a dinette, counter space and storage galore. What price are you being charged?

As far as the gray water goes, I was just thinking a 5 gal bucket would suffice (nothing fancy).
The dealer has been selling every T@B and T@da that they've been getting in within days. They are able to give us a pretty steep discount on them (compared to MSRP). $15,500 is what they are selling it to us for. As far as I know, the only options that are missing are; hot water/shower package and the microwave.
