I have the 2008 2500 D/A CC SB 4WD and pull a Challenger just fine. Total scaled weight 20,100 dry. Overall length about 53 feet. Don't let anybody tell you it's too heavy because it's not. Pulls fine, rides fine, feels fine. I go 65 mph all day with my add on fuel tank tool box combo.

I don't think you will find any new 5ers with those specs for $25,000. It would be real hard to find ANY new fiver of any size for that. I'd take a look at used ones.

My experience with shows has been poor when it came to dealing. I've gotten a lot better deals from dealers when and if they are ready to move a particular unit. Takes a lot of looking and talking.

I just picked up mine for $25K brand new 36 foot front bunks 2008. It sat on the RV dealers lot for almost 2 years due to the ecomomy. They are out there you just have to look hard for the deals.

I got a 2009 Keystone Copper Canyon 360FWQDS 37.5 feet with four slides for $28K 3 weeks ago. You should be able to find what your looking for if you take your time.

Take a look at this model. It has an interesting bunk configuration up front. I don't have any idea what the cost would be, but Cougar is a reasonably priced line.

Thanks for all the information.

Took a look at rvwholesalers found a Jayco 32QBBS that would fit my needs and price. Has anybody had any experience dealing with them?

If you'll look at the Jayco "Super Lite" line, I know the 30.5BHS model has 4 bunks here And I know for a fact you can pick up a new 2009 model for under $25k (probably even a 2010). Heck, a small mom-and-pop shop quoted me $23.5k, and AllSeasonsRV in Muskegon, MI were letting them go for less than that. I ended up getting a 2009 31.5BHDS for well under $25k, which is a 2-slide model instead of just 1 slide for 30.5BHS. We really love ours. Don't let the "Super Lite" title fool you into thinking that it's a cheap, watered down unit with few options. It comes standard with electric awning, LCD TV, etc.

We have found lots of 5ers in the 22,000-27,000 range. They are light weight and nice looking. Not palaces like some that you see, but very nicely made. There are several dealers, some in Michigan, one in VA and some in NC that have these 5 ers. We are looking at a 27 foot Heartland Sundance and it is 26,000. You just have to look online. There are bargains now, the dealers want to sell these campers and will deal. Good Luck!
