Hi,
We camped in a lovely spot, but the pine trees have left their sap on our vehicles. What a mess. Suggestions for removal of sap? Surfaces involved: windshield, toad hood, and in all likelihood-rv roof (tpo). Thanks for helping my out of this sticky situation

Just removed tree sap today from my son-in-laws black Prius using wet bounce sheets and plenty of water.

Goo Gone or mineral spirits. You may want to wax those areas afterward since the solvents will take the wax off as well.

I use Dawn liquid detergent on a used dryer sheet and just enough
water to wet the dryer sheet. Rinse and viola!!

Lighter fluid works great, as does WD-40! Use a microfiber cloth if you have one!

I second the WD-40. I have used it for that several times. It also does a great job at removing labels.
