Time to replace my Latitude C400. Several friends have had great things to say about their HP minis. I missed a great deal at Staples a couple of weeks ago, but that is water under the bridge. I'm looking for online sources or brick and mortar, though since I in the boonies in Utah for the next two weeks I have no chance of getting to a regular store. If the deal is good enough, however, I could probably talk a friend near a major city to pick one up for me. I've been to Amazon and Buy.com, but I know there are more good sources, just can recall any right now.

Thanks for your help.

Only if you can beat the source - I've often found HP offers the same good deals:

I checked out the unit at Staples and didn't like the very small hard drive. I went to Fry's and bought a ACER with 1 Gig ram and 160 gig hard drive. Now this unit will do anything that I want without having to hook it to another unit every time I want to use another program. It's large enough to carry all my programs in it while it has a 10.1" screen. I also got the 6 unit battery with about 5 hours of use time. I paid $279.00 for it plus taxes.
