I wonder if this stuff is more glossy than 303. I use 303 on my MH, but have always been disappointed by how dull it is compared to the stuff I use on my cars.

Another vote for 303.

303 Products Site

Daryl - On edit. BEFORE you use an "unknown" product - check with
the tire mfg (brand) you plan to use it on!

Ex: At one time the *ONLY* product Michelin approved for their tires was 303. If you had a warranty issue - such as cracks in the sidewals, and were foolish enough to admit using ArmorAll or other similar product on your tires, your warranty was null and void.
Michelin now has their own product - which I suspect is 303.

The "paint on" stuff was around as far back as the late 50's under
various names - and for various reasons ("Tire Black" - Pep Boys).

Daryl,

First it sounds to good to be true, remember the old adage, If it sounds to go to be true, it probably is. Second if it lasts 4 to 5 years why buy a large can to store and get old in your garage when you will be changing tires in 5 to 6 years?

I just take care of correct tire pressure and forget the rest, my tires last 5 years or more.

I have read on the website for 303 that it can be used instead of wax on fiberglass surfaces. Has anyone applied it to the fiberglass surface of their 5'er? Is it better than wax?

All depends on your definition of "better".
303 will wash out with the rain much faster than good wax, but than the "spray on, wipe off, no cleaning necessary" application is very hard to beat comparing to buckets of elbow grease for wax job.
What is another advantage of 303 that it is good on everything but the paint. My boat and trailer gets a coat from the ground level all the way to bimini top. It makes good windshield treatment too.

I bought the kit a couple of years ago for 14.99. Use it once a year on the tires. If nothing else, it does make them look good, gives them a nice black look. I also use 303 throughout the year.
