Ok...we are getting ready to bite the bullet on a toy hauler. We are considering the Jayco Octane T26Y

It has the upgraded options of the 4000watt generator, dual powered queen size beds in the "garage" area, 112 gal water tank, 2 seperate gas tanks (1 for generator, 1 for fuel station), fuel station, 15,000BTU AC.

any thoughts?? any recommendations? pull the trigger already...?? Anything ewes found out that ya needed after ya bought one that the one you had didnt have???

Price is $31,866....good or too high?

Am I the only one that thinks the price is too high? Especially in todays market.

You didnt say what year the trailer is so I assume you are talking brand new. Does this thing have slides, aluminum or fiberglass?

In my opinion, no bumper pull trailer should be over $30k.

I'm looking at the Octane T26Y as well. Don't know what part of the country your in, but if your willing to travel to pick it up you should be able to save an additional $5,000 off the price you mentioned on a 2010 with all the options you want. Try RV Direct, they are the lowest of the quotes I have gotten. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but have done a lot of looking and have not found any negative reviews about them on this site or others.

Good luck.

That does sound like a deal, the very cheapest I could find was a bit more than yours, most were close to full list price. The only thing you might consider adding is a 2nd roof A/C.

A Jayco is not just an RV, it's a way of life!

Not a bad price but you could most likely find a better deal or get the dealer you're currently working with to drop the price. Great looking unit and Jayco gets mostly positive reviews from forum members. No trailer is perfect but Jayco has a 2 year warranty with great customer service. Happy camping!!

I agree, too high, price you pay should be no more than 30 percent off MSRP.
