Yeah we just bought a used 05 Fleetwood Newport and where we bought it they said it had been there almost a year and to us we just dont understand why. It seems like it would be a hot item. Good luck on your purchase!

Just tell them, no I think 7500 is a good fair price, But you want 7600 for it and I am willing to pay you that but with the ac unit included with the battery plus the case around it. Think about it, you are really doing them a favor because they have had it there for 2 years, right. So from 10,500 they have lowered to 8600, ofcourse it's almost 2 1/2 years older model so they have to sell it for less....The dealer always way overprice everything they sell, so I'm sure they will not loose any money by selling it to you for 7600 with the ac unit included. Tell them you might loose interest if they don't decide quick.

well... if I were you, I'd go to Fretz RV in Souderton and buy a Jayco

but this deal is ultimately what you want to pay. You can get a brand new camper for $9000 this one will cost you out the door - 2009 or 2010 - My guess is there's a reason this camper has sat for this long, the dealer isn't motivated to sell his merchandise.

Best of luck...

reading77,

I don't quite understand your post about "not budging on the AC". Was it them that would not budge by having you pay for the AC, or are you not budging and want it installed for the 7600 dollar price?
Keep us informed!

Dan

Sorry if this seems unkind, but they are people that I would run away from!!! My camper came with brakes, battery and ready to tow except to fill the propane tank. Only been back to my dealer once for a small warranty issue. was treated like a king and did not have to negotiate on issues and warranty coverage.
You have not mentioned what warranty and how far it is from home. Not to mention the depreciation that you will take as soon as you drive it off the lot. Lots of traffic and age is a bad choice. By now caulk from sitting in the sun could be an issue. The outfit in souderton has an outstanding reputation. You can get a new one with the basics included, new warranty, no second doubts about overpaying for a very used unit.
PLEASE run away my opinion only, many on here, thank goodnes are very polite and don't want to hurt your feelings. Run away and live to camp happy another day. best wishes Bill

I think I would say "no thank you" if I was told to pay for the battery, brake switch, etc. I feel those should be included in the asking price.
