Made by Keystone in the mid price range with the Montana, Everest, and Mountaineer. Ours had a couple extra features such as an Onan generator (don't think it was factory however). Some other nice features is the "No Fuss" flush system, E-Z Lube wheels and axle. A vent fan in the bedroom ceiling wired for a second A/C. Overall I think you will be pleased with a Challenger, we are!

I have the 08 Challenger 30 TRL. We like it. I have put about 6000 miles on it and haven't had any problems. Ours doesn't have much in the way of extras but I find it to be very functional. Don't really have any gripes about the way it is laid out or built. Seems to be solid, pulls smooth as silk. I did opt for a second air conditioner, and after reading about the chinese tires here I chose to send mine to early retirement.

I have a '06 Challanger 5th wheel, model 29rls, that we have been pleased with so far. Biggest grips so far has been the E-Z wash systm for the black water tank has never worked, and the pocket door, going into the bedroom is always off it's track and gets jammed. As you can see, these are both minor problems that I've accepted to live with. Overall, it has been fine. Just make sure you look at all your water tubing connections for drips first thing when you get it. I had about 4 leaking connections that I tightened. I like my 5er, but it is not made for full timing IMO.

I have an '05 34TBL and have really enjoyed it. I too have had the water leak problem, pocket door off track and the tank flush has never worked on mine either. No other problems but have only used it on wekends and a week at at time during the fall. Good value.

I have a 2004 Keystone Challenger 32TKB that we purchased last year. The first thing we had to do was replace the axles, they were both bent. The new one are rated @ 8,000lb, no more funny tire wear. The vacuum break for the Black water tank wash was bad and spewed water all inside the walls, I found a better one from Cullum & Maxey and now it works fine. I think too high of water pressure caused the valve to stick open. We have talen two long trips in it after fixing these problems with no additional problems. We love all the storage we have in this 5er. We hope to go fulltime around the first of next year.

I have a 2005 29 RKP Challenger and after two long trips have come to really enjoy it. Pulls very easy and smooth with a PSD 250, lots of storage and everything works as needed. I love the tall ceilings and the king size standing up walk-around bed with front closet.
I bought mine after watching a friend pull his 34 sat Challenger all around the country for two years with virtually no problems attributable to the camper.

I have had 3 Montanas made by Keystone and is the granddaddy of the Challenger. We have had great luck out of all 3. The newest one is a 2010 Montana 3150RL. Keystone is a good solid company.

We love ours, the only problem we've had that really bugs me is that the 2 bunk slides don't square up to the wall when extended. Dealer said basically nothing they could do, but put some nice thick seals on that took care of any gaps. Something isn't square. If you get bunk slides check how they seal against the wall in both positions before you buy. It is normal for them to look like they are leaning in a bit when extended, they are not built square, but they should be able to seal right. Ours came with the Sidewinder hitch which has been great, and makes towing with a short bed a breeze.
