It is time for a new grill for the FIVER. I used to have a RVQ with a quick connector directly to my gas line on the trailer. I guess RVQ is no longer in business because I can't find them anywhere.

What is a GOOD portable to buy????

Is there a product that replaced the RVQ???

Webber "Q" series are popular although very expensive for my tastes. I use the basic black steel box Webber. Had them for years and at $50 or so dollars they are a bargain compared to the 100 dollar plus "Q"'s
As far as I know there is nothing to replace those ineffective RVQ things. Thank Goodness.

Another vote for the Weber BabyQ. Well made for the $$$, easy to transport, can use small propane bottles or hook it up to 5ver gas with the proper fitting and hose. Cooking area is sufficient unless you're BBQing for the neighborhood or a large family. The domed top seems to aid in even cooking temps. Usually $140.

We have the Weber Q 220, it's a great grill. We got the 220 because it has the thermostat on the front. The grill does a wonderful job of searing meat due to the cast iron grate...make fantastic steaks. Due to the grate is is a little heavier than some others. If you are limited on space you may want to look at the Baby Q. We have had ours for about four years...still in good shape.

We've been using the Olympian for years now and have been very pleased with it's performance. Also, as mentioned, you can't go wrong with the Weber Baby Q.

do not throw away your old rvq until take off the control valve. I got $39 portable grill from Lowe's and switch the valve out with the rvq one so it works from the low pressure quick connect under my tr. Works great and had it for three years now

Our Olympian grill is 9 yrs old and works great. It has a thick aluminum shell and everything inside is cast iron or chromed steel. Heating is very even and consistant with the thermometer on the lid. We won it as a door prize and it came with the stand. I can't complain about the price! Craig
