As some of you know I have been on a year long search for some LED lights for the inside of my trailer. I have bought every LED light known to man and then some in an effort to find a good replacement bulb for my trailer. I bought some from Superbright LED's (What a waste of money), I got some from E-Bay (More wasted money) and local auto parts, electronic and RV stores. Nothing I bought held up or were bright enough to use. I got so frustrated, I installed complete LED light assemblies, to bad they are great SPOT lights, but bad room lights. My wife, who was behind the project at first was getting tired of it and asked me to remove all the LED's from the inside of the trailer, yes dear was all I could answer.

Well I was on one of the Yamaha Rhino forums and I saw post about Rigid Industries and a little product they had coming out. I read with great interest, about a new LED RV replacement bulb that they came out with. Well I looked at it and thought, well I've tried this style before, it is a plate style that I found to be a great spot light. Well I was about to dismiss it, when I thought I would try to contact Rigid about the lights. I spoke to Jason Christiansen, President of Rigid Industries about my search and concerns, he told me that I would like his LED's and that they have done a lot of testing to come up with the best bulb on the market. So, I order a set to try out in my trailer. I installed them and asked my wife to try them out, she was shocked at how much warm light the Rigid RV lights gave out. She complained about all the other lights being blue or to white, but the Rigid LED's were perfect... Well I took the trailer up to Big Bear for a 3 day test of the lights, and they passed with flying colors!! I am very happy, cause my wife is happy and now I can run the lights all night if I want, without fear of killing my battery or melting the housing. Now I just need to buy like 4 more of these and I will be set..

Thanks Rigid for finally making the product I was searching for..

I will take some pictures tonight and post them.

I also have a info sheet from Rigid I can e-mail you if you would like. PM your e-mail if you want it..

Wow $24/bulb - Humm may have to rethink how much I want LEDs.

Thanks for being the Guinea Pig on this one Derwud, maybe you can start a LED museum or something.

I hear yeah, if I had just bought these from the start, I could have replaced all my bulbs with these for the same money!
